Warm weather continuing for the weekend...Fifties but high winds...seventies by Monday!
Blasting all good tunes today including an episode of Casey's Really Scratchy Record Party where we will feature the 1970 C&W classic Hard, Hard Travelin' Man by Dick Curless in it's entirety. (The whole pie, as they used to say.
It's a truckers concept album featuring that great Bakersfield Sound and an incredible band.
We will also be playing an old cassette interview I dubbed back in the nineties of a great interview with Dr. John (Mac Rebennack) did with Dan Akroyd (Elwood Blues) on the old House Of Blues Radio Hour. He tells some great Professor Longhair stories.
And we will spin the latest addition of the Ohio Mysteries Podcast as they explore a 1892 mystery from Middletown, Ohio.

Good morning from The Mighty 88! We are back on air today after a brief hiatus.
Finally some sunshine today in the Hocking Valley, High 43....52 tomorrow...69 by Wednesday.
Super Bowl tomorrow but more importantly, Spring Training open in AZ & FLA. Hallelujia!
Kicking off things with Uncle Bobby's Greatest Hits cassette. Yes, Cassette.
This is the first Dylan album I ever listened to and I thought it was weird-outer space stuff, at first.
It grows on you.
Then another cassette, an episode of a show called Greatest Hits USA that was taped off a Boston radio station, some years ago.
Lots of Sixties pop & rock n roll. This is the 4th of July episode. God Bless America.
